Christa Watson's New Craftsy Class, Startup Library Quilting!
Christa, at ChristaQuilts, announced the arrival of her new Craftsy Class, Startup Library Quilting! So many viewers of my Facebook page have asked how to learn to quilt. At Christa's invitation I watched her class, and I can absolutely recommend it to beginning quilters. She really takes the time to go over the nuts and bolts, to explain quilting terms, and to do a complete show and tell class.

One of the things I really like is her explanation of measuring and stitching on the borders. As someone who has simply cut lengths of fabric and stitched the borders up without measuring, I do know from experience what kind of wonky quilts you end up with. Christa is quite a bit more forgiving on other little irregularities that might simply be personal preference.
