More Mystery Scrap Quilt!

Hark!  What madness doth lie under the sewing table in yon room?  Could it be scraps, which dare show themselves to the light of day?  Yes.  They dare.

I see the geese which refused to fly in formation.

And there are the butterflies, behaving badly!

And then I started making some rules, cutting some blocks, making some order in the chaos.

Any fabric strip not nailed down was stitched in here somewhere!

Now only the top left-hand corner is not yet fleshed out.  I have to think that one through.  I have almost triumphed over the scraps and errant geese and butterflies.  Quilting will be a delight!

I shall not add this top to my pile of yet-to-be quilted beauties!

    1. Thank you! I have not yet decided if I want to leave the embroidered applique in the corner. That piece is not suiting me just yet!

  2. What a good way to use your scraps. I like how it is all totally random and yet you have managed to put things together so there is a feeling of movement and rhythm. Good job.
